Recently, NDRC and NEA compiled and issued the plan of energy and technology innovation, which arranged 15 important tasks of grid technology, including wireless charging technology. On present, there are two main applications of wireless charging technology: electronics industry and the electric vehicle industry. Since 2015, Apple and Samsung have launched wireless charging phone, and the rise of electric automobile also create great market for wireless charging.

The advancement of wireless charging chain will help to boost the development of relevant material field. The main parts of wireless charging device are IC, the transmission coil, magnetic boards and modules, so the raw material ferrites of magnetic boards will benefit a lot. The wireless charging devices have some disadvantages of low charging efficiency and large heat, so to avoid these shortcomings, the main solution is to add magnetic boards on the transmitting end and the receiving end of the device. And ferrite magnets are the raw material of the magnetic board, it is a ferromagnetic metal oxide. Due to its high permeability when it is in high frequency, the ferrite has become nonmetallic magnetic materials in a wide range of a high-frequency weak field.

In accordance with the different placement of receiving end, wireless charging transmitter divided into fixed position type, single coil-free location and multiple coil-free location. And these transmitters require different ferrites. The first kind needs to neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnet sheet to make the receiving end in a fixed position, so that to achieve the maximum charging efficiency. The second kind needs high reliability of the magnetic board for the coil has to move, so it always uses flexible magnetic sheets. As for the third kind, it uses MnZn material of high Bs and low loss.
