•     Magnetic Driving Device:

Magnetic driving device for computer to read and write data: the permanent magnet used in this device was always the first or second generation of SmCo rare earth magnets. However, the development of neodymium permanent magnet gradually replaced the expensive samarium cobalt magnets  after 1984.

•     Hard Disk driver:

Hard disk driver of computer is mainly made of NdFeB permanent magnets  with high coercivity.

•     The Hammer-head of Dot Matrix Printer:

The manufacturer always uses the third generation of neodymium magnets  to make this component. And in general, this permanent magnet should be sintered in high vacuum condition and when molding, the orientation degree of magnetic field should exceed at least 90%. Besides, after sinter in high temperature, it should be handled with multiple thermal aging treatment homogeneously to achieve the precision of 0.02%. As a result, this printer can type beyond 100 words per minute for Chinese, English, Japanese and so on. And it can service for more than 100 million times.
