Some of our German clients like to bring new innovative products on the market and are looking for a reliable magnet manufacturer.
One client asked us to custom D20 wide disc magnets for a new product, holding force should be minimum 3 kg (possibly even larger) and the height of 1 mm (possibly even smaller). By estimation, the holding force of a magnet D20x1mm can not reach 3KGS even in top grade N52 permanent magnetic materials , so we suggest our client consider increasing size or use a metal cup magnet to replace an individual magnet. The estimated holding force of a N52 D20x1mm magnet is around 1.50KG. For thicker magnets in size D20x2mm, the holding force may achieve 3KGS. The actual holding force should be tested by the users. Anyhow, we suggested client order samples in different sizes like D20x2mm, D20x2.5mm, D20x3mm, and make a testing.
